Honda ADV 160: Motorcycle For Keeps

Poging-pogi na kahit ikaw as an owner ay lilingunin mo pa din pagkatapos mo ipark. Eto yung motor na tititigan mo nang matagal habang nagkakape sa umaga.

Fuel Consumption & Brakes

Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) & Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC)

This is an adventure scooter so we expect na ang purpose nito ay pang long rides. Excellent performance for long rides with fuel consumption na umaabot hanggang 45 km/L considering its power and performance. Oo, may ibang 160cc ang Honda na halos same ang fuel consumption like PCX 160 at Airblade 160. While the initial investment might be higher, the long-term benefits makes ADV a cost-effective choice.

Good fuel consumption combined with hydraulic brakes, more efficient ang ADV 160 pagdating sa complete stop. May Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) na din pala yung front-wheel for extra safety features, samahan mo pa ng Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC).

Ergonomics

Comfortable - Straight back, slightly bent elbow and natural legs position

Ano ba ang ergonomic na position sa motor? Straight back, slightly bent elbow and natural legs position na para kang nakaupo sa harap ng computer (90 degrees ang position ng paa sa footpegs).

Gantong-ganto ang posisyon sa ADV 160 — chill lang na posisyon. Comfortable sya idrive whether mabilis o mabagal na takbo. Isa pa, even the OBR is comfortable both urban tour o long ride as it provides a wider seat making it a safe and enjoyable riding experience. Sabi nga nila eh upong reyna pag OBR ka sa Honda ADV.

Power & Handling

The combination of Power and Adventure-looks

With the combination of power and adventure-looks, di nakakahiyang itakbo ang ADV 160 along with other big bikes. Ang advantage compared to big bikes ay lightweight sya, easier to maneuver and more comfortable.

However, I have to emphasize na considering the seat height of ADV 160 (163cm), ang pagiging madali ng handling ng ADV 160 ay depende pa rin sa height ng rider. Para sa 5’4 ang height at beginner, malaki ang adjustment na kailangan sa umpisa. Also, it is extra challenging kung isisingit-singit sa sobrang traffic na lugar like service road at EDSA.

Pag sanay na at para sa mga skilled rider, di naman disadvantage kahit di ganoon katangkad.

Underseat Compartment

Compartment storage - 30 Liters Capacity for full-face helmet and other essentials

Para sa mga mahilig mag-out-of-town at long rides, perfect ang compartment for extra storage. 30 liters ang capacity kaya kasya ang isang full-face helmet and other essentials. It compliments the purpose of ADV 160, goods for both long rides and comfort!

Anti-Theft Features

Smart Key system & steering wheel lock feature

Keyless na din ang ADV and it won’t start kapag malayo ang remote. You can also set the alarm and take advantage of the steering wheel lock feature for added security lalung-lalo na kapag nagpapark sa public places.

Has a great motorcycle community

Di nakapagtataka kung bakit pinaka-”hype” na scooter ng Honda ang ADV 160 since it was released. At kaabang-abang pa nga ang upgrades in 2025!
